When Morriston Comprehensive School was granted funds to upgrade the facilities within the complex, architects Stride Treglown of Cardiff chose the SoundFlex range of acoustic panels to help with acoustics.
Prefabricated larch slatted panels were fitted to the first and second floor balconies as well as the clerestory wall on the second floor using a traditional split batten system. First and second floor balconies were capped with 310mm Larch timber capping.
All panels were Class O Fire Rated and have Class A sound absorption. A total of 400m² covered the area.
