We have begun a phased return to normal operation, supporting the increasing number of customer sites and plants that are now opening. Our West Bromwich and Smethwick locations are largely operating as normal with continued support from home workers. Other Services

Accordial provide additional services such as renovating worn or tired looking wall systems, the relocation of existing systems and operator training. We can test your system for sound leakages with our acoustics testing service, and we can add acoustic absorption boards to your walls and panels to create an extra sound barrier.

If you need to move your operation or your meeting rooms around to make better use of your layout let us give you advice free of charge. We may be able to save you money.

A move around does not mean that you have to make a new wall and discard your old wall. We have the experience and know how to advise you on what you can do. For instance leave the track in its existing position so you do not have to spend on the ceiling works that can be expensive. Instead we install a new track in your new opening. We then transfer the existing system to the new location. We may have to cut a panel down or make a new panel but as long as the height can be relatively made to suit the existing wall then your existing partition can hopefully be re used in the new opening.

Call us to arrange a complimentary site survey visit so that we can advise you on what is possible and to make sure you get the best value for money.

If a new system is required then you can have peace of mind that Accordial as the largest award winning manufacturers of movable walls in the UK can meet your every requirement.

Inductions and training on the correct operation of your walls

Movable wall systems can be large and heavy installations, requiring assessment to ensure that they are being operated and maintained to comply with current health and safety legislation.

Accordial will offer an induction on the operation of the system to your staff to give you the peace of mind that your wall systems are being operated safely and correctly.

Reduce the need for breakdown repairs

A movable wall that is operated safely and correctly will see the need for breakdown repairs reduced saving you valuable time and money. Our operator training service is recommended for those sites that have a high turnover of staff such as hotels or conference centres.

An operation manual compiled and produced by Accordial is also available at no extra cost you.

    What is sound insulation?
Sound insulation is the property of a wall or a floor to resist the passage of noise.

    Why is sound leakage important?

If you are hiring out two rooms next to each other where sound leakage is evident then people will be able to hear what is going on in the adjacent room. This will affect future business and client satisfaction.

    What is sound insulation testing?

Sound insulation testing is a method of measuring and quantifying the amount of noise reduction achieved by an acoustic partition wall and the surrounding structure between two conference/meeting rooms.

Running an acoustic sound insulation test on a partition wall will reveal the flanking areas that need acoustic improvement.

What will be involved with a sound test and how will we benefit from this?

We will need access to all rooms and will need all areas to be free from events and people. All our equipment is designed to be moved around easily and quickly to minimise disruption. The test will show the areas of sound weakness. This may not be the wall but the baffle above and below the wall or services running through the opening. A test will pinpoint which areas need to be improved on.
